Methodology

3-Way ELO decomposes each delivery outcome into batter, bowler, and venue contributions (52%/22%/26% weighting). Ratings update ball-by-ball in strict chronological order.

Skill Indices measure residual performance — how much better or worse a player performs compared to model expectations. Batting scoring index captures runs per ball; bowling economy and strike rate capture wicket-taking and run prevention.
